The Victorian, is a bed and breakfast and meeting place located in the heart of down town Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Lodging more personal than a hotel, and usually more affordable. This grand lady is on the Historic Register. Built in 1888, the home provides an intimate, and cozy setting that meets many needs. Enjoy the feeling of being a guest in a lavish home whether your at a day long meeting, or an overnight guest. In the summer enjoy our trademark Victorian wrap around porch. In the winter time, enjoy a sit by the fireplace. At the Victorian, your needs come first.

The Victorian underwent much renovation the summer and fall of 2010! If you have visited this web site before, or have been in the Victorian, take the time to visit again... Come and see this grand lady in her new makeup (paint and shingles)! Under new ownership in January 2012.

About Our Rooms:
Our three deluxe suites each with a private bath, are decorated with great detail. Click on the "Rooms" tab above to see many photos of these beautiful, luxurious rooms. All three of our guest suites have queen sized beds and are located on the second floor. Each room has coffee and tea service and many other little extras. Most all rooms have a small refrigerator and a television.

We are less than five miles from the airport and walking distance to downtown. Kids can play on the rainbow play set as you relax on the porch swing. If you are in need of childcare please inquire.

We offer individual room rates with and without breakfast ... you choose!

We offer continental breakfast at no charge or a full service hot breakfast for $15.00 per person. You choose what fit your needs.

Friday - Saturday $110.00*
* Special rates for stays of three or more nights, or three or more rooms for one night. Portable crib and extra mattress available for kids at no extra charge.

Rent the house or main floor for your special events!!

An affordable and unique setting for your special event... finally! You can rent the main floor by the hour or rent the house itself. Rent by the hour, or by the day. Imagine a wedding, reception, shower, party, reunion, social gathering, even a office meeting or workshop in our unique setting... they will talk about it for years to come! You can use the spaces as they are, or rearrange things to customize the spaces for your needs.

Social Rooms Rental
You can rent by the hour our four adjoining rooms and limited use of our kitchen to host your workshop, party, open house, etc. If you sell things such as purses, jewelry, etc, this is a great place to hold a sales event. Your guests want to come if even just to see the house itself! Does your office need a quiet place to hold a seminar or meeting..something private and unique? This is your place! How about a club meeting place? Perfect. Girls night out becomes bar free, and men free ... ladies, you know what I mean! Finally a cozy place to just have girl talk..especially if it's a summer night including the huge wrap around front porch area or the outdoor patio with a fireplace. You share the house with overnight guests with this option as they have a room on the second floor and may also use the kitchen and the porch, however, you get the social rooms exclusively.

Rates: $50 per hour, hours of availability are 11:00 a.m.-9 p.m. Some exceptions apply.

House Rental
Imagine hosting an event that allows your guests or employees to just stay overnight after! Great for out of town attendees that would book a hotel room anyway..just have them chip in for the house rental instead of getting that hotel room offsite. You get our three luxury suites each with a private bath, two formal living room areas adjoined and furnished with couches and chairs to sit back and relax along with seating for 8, and a formal dining room area that has seating for 8. We have formal seating for 16 now, but you can add more tables and chairs for up to 32 people seated comfortably. If you're not serving a formal sit down dinner, then you can fit as many people as you wish as there are plenty of places to roam throughout the main and second floors. Along with plenty of outdoor seating on those nice days. You may also use our kitchen. Many caterers have already done parties for our guests at the Victorian. You might also choose to cook your own meals on site. We rent the space, you take care of the rest.

Rates: $900.00 for a 24 hour period! You not only get all three suites, four bathrooms, but use of our kitchen, main floor social room, dining room, and huge wrap around front porch area along with the outdoor fireplace and patio ... ALL EXCLUSIVELY! Just you and your special occasion, no strangers coming and going.
